Polyvore.com allows users to swipe copywritten material from anywhere on the web and import it onto the site and then create collages or "sets" from imported images. Polyvore supplies the graphics application which can be used to create derivative works and remove watermarks and copyright information from imported images. Guys, this is a petition I put up today in response to my work being illegally pulled from my Etsy.com website after a cease and desist letter was written a year ago and initial images were removed. I wrote up this petition after this thread in the Etsy forums ( http://www.etsy.com/forums_thread.php?thread_id=5982886&page=1 ) alerted me that the problem had not been resolved and Polyvore was being apathetic to the legal rights of copyright holders of images being butchered on their website.
